sunday update #1
gonna do a sunday update cuz daily ones keep escaping me
classes are cool. I feel like I’m in the jedi academy or hogwarts or something
like super therapy with movement and like .. super speed exploration of the self basically. It’s a really fucking strange profession I’m getting into. But everybody in my group is just like…. unbelievably talented it’s crazy. crazy
still have a feeling like I’m on thin ice. nothing really backs this up but I think it is a fragile ecosystem and I’m just like, torn between excitement for what this work could be and also fear at how easily it could all be ripped apart. the cohort who graduated this past spring apparently had a tonnnnn of bad issues and like love triangles and even some legal stuff so yeah I’m just… hoping that’s not us. It doesn’t seem like it, but I bet they were buddy buddy the first week or two as well.
I wish I wasn’t so on guard and was more able to just let life happen, control what I can control. But also, there’s a lot that could happen, with me involved, that would be bad. Same as Good. That’s just what happens when it’s only 15 people, we all share a responsibility to keep the space sacred so the work can flourish.
All in all, this is what I was dreaming of the past two years so fuck it we ball out
